1990

1st June 1990: Company founded by Michael Unmüßig and Michael Kuri as a service enterprise for printer ribbon refilling and computer trade

1991

Production of remanufactured and new ribbon cartridges begins

1992

Move to Herbolzheim trading estate into a new building with a manufacturing area of 1,000 m² and newly organized distribution area

1995

Start of toner module manufacture

1996

Move to Ettenheim, into the former premises of the BASF video cassette factory, with a production and administration area of 2.800 m². Mr. Heinz-Gerd Klotz joins our management team.

1997

Start of ink cartridge production

1998

Acquisition of a new manufacturing area within the industrial park – expansion to a total area of7.500 m²

1999

Foundation of our subsidiary company collecture aimed at optimizing the collection of used ink and toner products

Printware celebrates the 10th anniversary of its foundation with over 300 guests


Mr. Ralf Ackel joins our management team as Marketing & Sales Director
