These are then inspected by our experts in the test department with regard to a number of attributes such as print density, page yield, pin-sharp clarity and the quality of the components. Long-term tests are additionally performed on each production batch to ensure that there are no deviations from the K+U standard.

A key aspect of the quality of freecolor products is that only virgin empties are employed, i.e. freecolor products are made using only original cartridges which have only been emptied once. This effectively eliminates the wear which can occur with multiple use. Additionally, all components are replaced which may show wear after a certain number of pages.
