With freecolor products you give your
printer premium quality. freecolor does not just mean TOP prices but also TOP
quality with pin-sharp print-outs. Our freecolor products are manufactured
according to stringent criteria which guarantee, for example, that all wearing
parts such as the photoconductor drum, are replaced by new components. In
addition to this we only use virgin empties, i.e. original cartridges which have
only been emptied once. freecolor products are equal to the original product in
all respects (page yield, print density, graphics quality).
Following components are replaced:
Photoconductor drum
An image or text is generated in the laser printer with the aid of the
photoconductor drum. After a few thousand pages have been printed, the drum
becomes less precise. This is mainly noticeable when printing graphics. For
this reason K+U always replaces the drum in all freecolor products, so as to
guarantee the best print quality possible.
Primary charge roller (PCR)
The primary charge roller supports the process of the photoconductor charge.
With prolonged use, the charging process gets weaker, or fails to work properly
at certain points on the roller. To prevent this happening, freecolor products
are equipped with new PCRs.
Cleaning Blade
The cleaning blade cleans the drum after each rotation so that new toner can be
applied. When the blade is worn, the image is no longer sharp and clear.
freecolor products avoid this by preventive replacement.
Magnet roller
The magnet roller transports the toner from the toner tank to the
photoconductor drum. If the roller shows signs of wear, this transport process
no longer functions properly and the image becomes defective. freecolor also
avoids this by replacement.
Doctor Blade
The doctor blade ensures even distribution of the toner on the photoconductor.
If it is damaged, images can be blurred. All freecolor cartridges are given a
new doctor blade to ensure perfect functioning.
Sealing Foam
The sealing foam can be damaged during the cartridge recycling process, which
means the cartridge can develop a leak and toner can escape. freecolor
cartridges are equipped with new sealing foam to prevent this.
Wearing rail and clips
freecolor products are given new wearing rails and clips to ensure that
critical sub-assemblies of the cartridges are held together in their proper
position and optimum stability is guaranteed. Leakage often occurs in
cartridges with old, worn components.
