K+U Printware GmbH was founded in 1990 and has its production base in Ettenheim, Baden. The site covers an area of 11,500 square meters and currently employs 150 workers producing toners with impressive know-how and great innovative awareness. This makes K+U Printware one of the leading European manufacturers in the area of compatible toners.

Every year we produce about 800,000 compatible toners, which give us a strong presence in the global market. Expert know-how acquired through long years of experience and a constant awareness of innovative trends are reflected in the outstanding quality of our freecolor products.

We have branches in Marckolsheim, F (800 m²) and in England (1.000 m²).eingang.jpg

The production base in Ettenheim is "fed" by its subsidiary Collect GmbH (www.collecture.com). Every year this company collects over 2 million empty cartridges from ink and laser printers, toners and copy machines which are deemed suitable for remanufacture according to K+U's high standards.

K+U products play an active role in the market and set an important standard for users' increasing environmental awareness. In awarding us the SWAN certificate, the Swedish SIS Institute has confirmed that our production methods are environmentally friendly and our quality is tested. All our products satisfy the Swedish authority's strict requirements with regard to quality, environment and health.

Our subsidiary, Collecture GmbH, founded in 2000, fits seamlessly into K+U's environmentally friendly concept.
